How to repair bad sectors on a hard drive with MHDD? For the professional computer repair person, MHDD is the essential hard drive repair tool, but technical staff only used it to detect bad sectors. MHDD listed all the commands, we mainly explain the MHDD several commonly used commands: PORT, ID, SCAN, HPA, SHPA, NHPA, PWD, UNLOCK, DISPWD, ERASE, STOP.
We enter the PORT, Enter. Start LBA is to detect the start sector (default 0)
End LBA for the detection of the end of sector (the largest values of sector of the hard drive by default)
Time out for the detection timeout.

Bad sectors show similar With HDDSCAN, bad sectors or the LBA value of unstable tracks will display in lower right corner of the interface; in the scanning process can use up and down buttons to scan or skip.
