During partition alter, before delete or re-classification, please involved in all partitions of the data backup to a safe place (such as a second hard drive, burn to a CD-ROM, etc.). The following Windows XP as an example.

Step 7 is set up click “Next” button, the system displays “Completing the New Partition Wizard” dialog box to tell the user “has successfully completed the New Disk Wizard”, we can view the relevant settings.
Step 8 Click “Finish” button to close the wizard, the system will format the partition you just created. Using the same method, according to the remaining space needs to be re-divided into several different partitions.
Easy Change Drive Letter and Paths
If you feel your own corresponding to each partition the drive (ie drive letter) is not reasonable, under Windows 2000/XP can also be manually modified or exchange.
In the “Computer Management” window, right-click the drive letter you want to modify the logical drive, select the “Change Logical Drive” option, enter “Change Drive Letter and Paths” dialog box. Click “Change” button, enter “Change Drive Letter and Paths” dialog box, in the “Assign the following drive letter” drop-down list, select a drive letter. Of course, we can not choose the system has been taking up the drive symbol.
If you have NTFS formatted hard disk partition, the “Change Drive Letter and Paths” dialog box in the “Mount in the following empty NTFS folder” option will become available, as shown in Figure 5.
Selecting a drive letter and click “OK” button, enter the “confirmation” dialog box, verify that the program is not running partition and click “Yes” button, you can change the drive letter.
